[Gmsh] "O" hex mesh in gmsh?

I have been using Gmsh with OpenFOAM CFD.

I have recently attempted to add an "O" boundary layer hex mesh around
the surface of a single spine airfoil. My attempts were unsuccessful,
but I did manage to create a "C" mesh with an additional square plane
at the trailing edge for the "C" mesh to link to.

An "O" hex mesh seems like a fairly common and useful feature for a
meshing program. Am I overlooking something? If not could someone put
in a request to add such functionality?
