[Gmsh] Gmsh & OpenCascade

I'm meeting with the folks of VX (here is SA) next Monday. One of the
sales guys said that VX will be released on the Linux platform
sometime in the future. I'll believe it when I see it (also, one can't
expect them to look after the needs of one guy who'd like a Linux
version...) I'll consider buying their software if they can
'guarrantee' that a Linux version will come out in the future,
otherwise one might just as well save up for UGS NX 4. There's also
GiD (thanks Dave), but it doesn't have a drafting add-on (module), so
I can't use that. At this point in time VariCAD seems the only very
affordable (albeit non-parametric) option for mechanical design...
I've worked with Pro/E too, not nice (personal opinion), but powerful.
