[Gmsh] Triangulation remeshing using cubic map

Dear Sir,

I have a mesh (.mesh format) and I would like to refine it using a CUBIC map. What I have in mind is exactly what has been done in the following article

High Quality Surface Remeshing Using Harmonic Maps
J-F Remacle, C. Geuyaine, G. Compere and E. Marchandise
Int. J. Numer. Meth. Engng 2009
(in Figure 12, section 3.4->Higher order representation of the geometry)

Is it possible to do this using gmsh? Can you provide me a small example of how to do this in a .geo file?
