[Gmsh] Interfacing a boundary layer with a tetrahedral farfield.

Hello,

I have successfully created a boundary layer mesh via the Extrude
function. The mesh is psudo 2d(one cell deep). Here is a image of it:

How can I now create a tetrahedral far field that attaches to the
outermost cells in the boundary layer?
I have been able to get the created surfaces from the extrude command;
"tmp[] = Extrude {... ", But I have not had any success interfacing
them.

Is what I am attempting possible? Suggestions?

Thanks for the help!
