I create a unit square, meshed it with triangles and saved in msh format. When I try to extrude it, I'm getting a lot of errors like the following one:</p>

I'm able to read a mesh (in msh/vtk format) with gmsh and save it as a cgns file. Then I can view the cgns file with paraview/visit etc. However, when I try to read the cgns file with gmsh again, I have empty window with no elements/geometry. When I save an input cgns file as msh output file, the file contains only 3 header lines and nothing else. The same happens when I read sample files from the cgns website - the main window doesn't show anything, the visibility window is empty.</p>
