Sorry I think I didn't explain the question very well. Imagine I have a box and have defined the inside of this box as a surface. I want gmsh to create a mesh everywhere inside the box EXCEPT for a certain region inside it without having to define this region as a surface.

Thanks,

Adam

> Date: Wed, 30 Nov 2011 08:52:53 +1100
> Subject: Re: [Gmsh] Do Not Mesh Specific Region
> From: gdmcbain@freeshell.org
> To: madima@hotmail.co.uk
> CC: gmsh@geuz.org
>
> 2011/11/30 sdfsdf sdfsdfsf <madima@hotmail.co.uk>:
> > Hi,
> >
> > Is there a way I can tell gmsh to ignore a certain region during the meshing
> > process without actually defining that region as a surface?
>
> Isn't this the default behaviour?
