Hello VeTArg,<br>
<br>
Thanks for the reply. I was trying just what you recommended, before I
saw your reply, but it does not work. The message console states:<br>
<br>
Info : Reading MED file V3.0.3 using MED library V2.3.5<br>
Info : Done reading '/tmp/.....-res.med'<br>
<br>
and I get nothing in the gmsh graphical screen. I think V3.0.3 is not
function as of yet (tonight). Hope somebody can give more insight into
this compatibility issue. Yes, nightly "Builds" are nice! Thanks!<br>
<br>
Regards, JMB<br>

<pre wrap="">I think the nightly builds are MED3 compatible, there have been some discussions about that and a solution was found. Nightly builds don't need to be compiled, just download, untar and enjoy (that's why they are "builds" :D).

<pre wrap="">Hello,
Would somebody recommend a good tutorial for learning how to post
process CodeAster result files using gmsh, please?
I have tried various ways and I get nothing when I import a CodeAster
Ver_11+ MED file. Is this because gmsh cannot open the Med3 format? If
so is there an upgraded version of gmsh available; or in the development
stages as a daily snapshot that one can attempt at compiling? I am
using Ubuntu Jaunty (and Lucid) in a 64bit OS.
I am not sure of the post processing capabilities (accuracy) of the
latest version of Salome_6.3.1 and would like another means of verifying
the results. Thanks.
Regards, JMB
