I've been looking at Elmer, as recommended by someone on this list.<br>

Because of its flexibility, it appears to have a good potential,

although as in many FEA/FEM/CFD programs,<br>

importing geometry and meshes, and setting up the initial conditions

appears to be quite the nightmare.<br>

Would not a Elmer-export be a nice addition to Gmsh?<br>

<br>

I also find it interesting that Elmer's weakness are Gmsh's strengths.<br>

<i>I wonder if Elmer's math engine could be integrated into Gmsh.</i><br>
