<pre>The /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 file</pre>
<pre>must have</pre>
<pre>driver = " nvidia" and not "nv"</pre>
<pre>the lines containing "dri" and "GLcore"</pre>
<pre>must be commented out.</pre>
<pre>Then X must be restarted.</pre>
