[Gmsh] Robustness for quadratic meshes

Dear Sir/Madam,

I must first appreciate the work done for the making of Gmsh, its really a quite nice tool for the research community.

I would like to know if Gmsh produces robust nodes, elements and curvature points for the same geo file while generating  quadratic meshes.
What I observe is that the reisudal error is different for each run, which kind of intutively leads to me to think, some of the curvature points might have changed.

And if it does not produce robust meshes, is there a possibility to ensure this ?
