[Gmsh] Probelm with installation

Dear All

I would like to install Gmsh on my Linux machine

When I tried to run the binary file gmsh I got the following error

Error when loading shared libraries: libz.so.1   cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Also gmsh  for linux 64 tgz file does not want to unzip

Please help
