[Gmsh] Create mesh using command line

Hello Thomas,

You can use the following command line : gmsh <name_of_your_geo_file.geo> -2 <-o name_of_the_output_file>. “-2” is equivalent to using the Mesh 2D command from the UI, additionnaly you can specify the desired .msh output file name with the –o switch.

Objet : [Gmsh] Create mesh using command line

I have a .geo file which I'd like to create a .msh file from. My current procedure is

 - open the .geo file using the termianl
 - Select 2D mesh in the GUI
 - save the .msh file.

Is there a way to do this (tedious) process via the command line? I'm using a Macbook Pro if that's relevant.
