[Gmsh] Convert GMSH mesh file to GMSH geometry file.

Dear sir,

I have been learning GMSH for some weeks now and I wish to know how to
convert a GMSH mesh file obtained from a C++ code to a GMSH geometry for
further post processing (basically, cutting the mesh using symmetry and
converting the triangle element to quadrilateral element) in GMSH.

Thank you in advance. Any idea or suggestion will be highly appreciated.
