[Gmsh] Extrude quad mesh along path

Hi all, 

I'm sorry if this question looks trivial but I could not find a recent answer on this subject: 
Is it possible to extrude a structured/unstructured quad surface mesh along a "complex path" (arc, spline, etc) to create a 3D hex mesh ? 

Any help will be warmly welcome.
