Dear Christophe Geuzaine and Jean-François Remacle,
I am encountering a problem working
with *.geo files. Gmsh hangs momentarily anytime I move the mouse
pointer within the graphical window perimeter. The delay in time
rises as the point/lines count increases into the thousands.
Upon loading any *.geo demos the lag in
not perceptible. I have used gmsh in the past with identical files on
other systems without any issue. When I export to *.msh and
reload it, the delayed response is totally gone.
My graphics drivers are current,
however I suspect the problem might have something to do with OpenGL. As a test I uninstalled them to see if gmsh behaved similarly with
the base generic drivers under OpenGL V1.x and gmsh functioned
properly. I tried older versions of gmsh in both 32 and 64 bit and
the problem continues to persist.
Are there any know issues with OpenGL
4.0, or solutions/alternatives?
The provided Intel graphics control
panel is extremely limited. There are no OpenGL parameters listed at
all.
Other current OpenGL programs I work with function normally.
