[Gmsh] Gmsh enabled Braidsim to win JEC Europe 2014 innovation award

Dear Gmsh developers and users,

 

With the contribution of Gmsh, Braidsim won the JEC Europe 2014 innovation
award in the simulation category! Braidsim simulates the braiding process,
which is used for composite preform manufacturing. Imagine maybe one day we
will drive a hydrogen car with braided pressure vessels for hydrogen
storage! Braidsim outputs *.msh-files for visual post-processing in Gmsh or
for making an animation as demonstrated on the attached photo. This can help
institutes as well as small- and medium-sized companies with small budgets
forward in their R&D. Hereby I would like to thank all of those who made
this possible.
