[Gmsh] force line discretization at point

Hi,

With 2D meshes, there's the "In Surface" command to force mesh
discretization at a point or line, as follows:

Point | Line { expression-list } In Surface { expression };

Is there a similar way to embed points in a line to force a compatible
1D mesh? This would simplify bookkeeping as opposed to manually
splitting and grouping line segments.
