Hi,
have a look at http://www.geuz.org/gmsh/doc/texinfo/gmsh.html#MSH-ASCII-file-format. There is a small example which could answer your question.
HTH,
Matthias

Betreff: [Gmsh] msh file format
Dear all
I want to ask about .msh file format.
I read a guide for this
http://www.manpagez.com/info/gmsh/gmsh-2.2.2/gmsh_63.php but i do not understand something.
At element region, which number describes which topic face of element has a physical quantity?
In this guide the only thing which write is that the second number of number-of-tags is the element witch has a physical quantity.
Plese help me.. i must resolve this as possible as quick!
i sent you a .msh file for example. At the end include the physical quantities
Kostas
