[Gmsh] strange behavior of "1:1" button

hello

i have a small problem with the following file
when i click on the "1:1" button at the bottom of the GUI window the
model gets zoomed in so much that a very large part of it is out of the
screen 
the numbering is very "discontinuous" 
but i want it that way 
and i have done it that way many times without this trouble

what's wrong?
