[Gmsh] gmsh and acis

I'm new to gmsh, am not sure what I'm trying is even supported,
and not sure I'm doing it right if it is. Nevertheless, I'm going to
ask a question anyway.

I built a version of gmsh on windows including acis libs.
Then I opened a sat file and the expected geometry shows
up in the graphics window. Then I push the 3D button in
Mesh. I get only a surface mesh; I wanted a tetrahedral
element mesh.

If I do the same thing with demo/cube.geo, I get a tetrahedral
mesh as expected.

Should 3D mesh work the same for both geometry sources or
is there likely some error in my gmsh build?
