[Gmsh] Strange behaviour under Xfce4

Hi,

I'm trying Xfce4 instead my usual Fluxbox as window manager and GMSH 
doesn't work properly. Instead of the image, I see a gray window, as in 
the attached image...What can it be?

I have an ATI MOBILITY RADEON X700 with fglrx drivers from Debian 
repository, and Direct rendering is active.

Can anybody help me?
