[Gmsh] Extruding an existind 2d triangular grid

Hello
I have a triangular grid for an airfoil. I have written this in msh format
and am able to load it into gmsh. The airfoil curve and outer boundary curve
are defined through Line elements with different physical id. Is it possible
to extrude this mesh ? I am not able to understand how to use the physical
id to extrude the mesh ?

How can I define a Line Loop when I have so many Line elements ?
