[Gmsh] About mesh the step file?

hello :
   I have aquestion, I could import correctly the geometry .step,and mesh it correctly when grid number is small  .but when the grid is large ,it cannot mesh sucess(example : i want the grid number is 300,000).why? Is GMSH cannot mesh complex modle? or otherthing? can i sent the file that cannot mesh correctly ?
