[Gmsh] neighbor elements

Hello,

I'd like to ask you how can I get a list of elements and their surrounding
neighbors for a 2D mesh. In addition, it is also possible to get for each
element the (global) number of their lower-dimensional bounding object? (for
example, edges in case of a 2D element).
