Hello Christophe,
Unfortunately I was unable to compile on either mingw or cygwin and was having to make lots of unsatisfactory hacks to occ source whilst making tiny increments of progress. I was lost in a haze of undefined and re-defined variables and myriad other hassles. I managed to make FoundationClasses and got somewhat into ModellingData but was unsure as to whether any of my efforts would be worthwhile as I had left a trail of unanswered warnings in my wake. I think I like your solution better. What you have provided is a treasure chest of data which I will greatly enjoy studying!
A question though. I think I would like to build the OCC libraries from scratch (since I'm a masochist), therefore what am I to do with the new_patch_6.2.patch file. I suppose it just goes in the CAS-6.2/ root directory?
Thank you so much for your help, including everyone involved with gmsh!!
Gus

I am using Windows XP Home and selected a complete install using "java -verbose -jar setup.jar" as install.csh didn't work for some reason. Therefore, would it be possible for someone to send me a list of the files I need to build from sources so I can check this against my current installation. Equally as good would be any ideas as to why my install is incomplete and any possible remedial action. I have posted a similar request on the OCC forums and have sought help from their technical department which I am still waiting on.
