[Gmsh] Background mesh

Hi,

I would like to test your background mesh technique in 3D (tetrahedral mesh 1st order).
Before I write the necessary interfaces to apply my background mesh, I would like to know:

- if the technique works in the case I want to get a tetrahedral mesh
- if there is an upper limit in the background mesh size to be provided
- if there are other restrictions concerning the background mesh; for example, does the geometrical extension of the background mesh have to coincide with the precise dimensions of the final mesh ?
