Sure. Just define Physical entities (on points, lines or surfaces) to
specify which elements to save. This is explained in the first tutorial
(t1.geo).

Did you correctly install getdp (i.e. somewhere in your path)? If you
are using Microsoft Windows, please read the README.txt file that comes
with gmsh.
