An announcement from Jonas Forssell <jonasforssell at yahoo.se>:

=============================================================

Gmsh is now supported by Impact

Impact is an explicit finite element solver used to
solve dynamic phenomenons, often involving large
deformations. With the latest release 0.4.8, a
translator exists which can read mesh files generated
by Gmsh and translate them into Impact native format.

The resulting file can be controlled by the Gmsh user
by defining physicals according to a special code.
More information is available in the users manual
supplied with Impact.

The combination of Gmsh and Impact now allows a
complete solution from model creation all the way
through solving and post-processing. All available for
free under the GPL license.

Feel free to try it out and let us know what you think
at http://impact.sf.net

Thanks
/Jonas
