[Getdp] Iron Losses for electrical machines

Dear list,
I am looking for a way, to calculate the iron losses on base of a magneto
static simulation. I perform several static simulation steps to take the
rotation of the rotor into account.
Now I would like to know if there is any "build in" way, to iterate over
every element of a physical surface, get the solution of that element and
apply an equation?
My fallback solution would be, to parse the solu files manually (with
python) and get the required information out of it.
