Dear GetDP users,
I have trouble finding the correct setup for the example FunctionSpace "Coupled edge and nodal finite element spaces for multiply connected domains" from part 7.5.7. of GetDP documentation. I enclosed a very basic example of the situation I am interested in. The inner round cross-section is a conductor in which I want to specify the total current but I do not want to be specific with the current density. Therefore, I use a constraint on a global term associated with I in the formulation. Outside of the conductor is just infinite air. I know I need to make a cut in the air region because it is not simply connected and then add the corresponding degrees of freedom. To do so, example 7.5.7. seems to provide all the answers, yet I certainly do miss something because my simulation results are far from what can be expected. Could someone explain me what is wrong with the definition of my FunctionSpace ? Just a last note, I know that the cohomology solver would be great in that kind of situation (and indeed it works fine), however I do not want to use it because it lacks control on the position of the cut. Thank you in advance for your response,
Faithfully yours,
