[Getdp] Surface probability densities

Dear All,

I have a unique problem, and can't find it discussed on the mailing list:

I have some 2D probability density function, and hope to integrate it within some complex area. I've
managed to mesh the problem geometry, but cannot for the life of me formulate the problem within
getdp.

You see, there is no need to solve for a field since the position of each finite element within the problem
geometry completely determines its probability. Thus no need for any integration method.

The function is expressed as p(x, y) = A*exp(-(x/mux + y/muy)/B). Where A, B, mux, and muy are
constants.

I can integrate the probability within the region as a post processing function within gmsh.

Where in the formulation should I express my function p? There are no boundary value constraints or
such. Is getdp an appropriate tool for this problem?

Kind regards,

Mike Grant.
