Hi, Christophe,
Is your PML formulation derived from the same technique firstly proposed
by Jean-Pierre Berenger in his paper
A Perfectly Matched Layer for the Absorption of Electromagnetic Waves,
Journal of computational physics 114, 185-200 (1994) ?
I have trouble figuring out the connection between your formulation and
his? Could you help me by giving me a reference to your formulation? It seems
your formulation is much more simpler and it keeps the time derivatives in
2nd order.
Following Berenger's idea, the scalar wave equation on PML I get after
collapsing the 4 equations of 1st order is 4th order in time derivative and
it involves a tensor of time derivative operator which I don't know how to
implement in getdp.
I attached the equation I got for PML (.dvi file). Could you please take
a look and help.
Thanks,
Lin Ji
